Hot news is the relocation of a burning man sculpture created by Marco Cochrane, “Truth is Beauty.” It will be installed, near the BART station in San Leandro’s new Westlake Urban Tech Campus in the autumn of 2016. San Leandro has two museums (one historical and the other Railway) and the San Leandro Performing Arts Center and Curtain Call Performing Arts, The Historic Bal Theatre and the San Leandro Players Theater Group.
